WHEN WILL YOU WRITE THE DUST OF NIGHT?
Ye ‘ol Pandemmy and the complexities of the day job have made progress on The Dust of Night very difficult. But as of 12/2021 I’ve finally completed the necessary backstory/outline work to get cracking on it.
When will you write another Pulse book?
I'm unsure actually, I'm sorry! I know what it is like to be left high and dry on a series, so this sucks to say but I'm all about honesty. While I love the Pulse books, the muse took me to The Dust series and I’ve been there for quite a few years now.
I HEARD YOU WERE SELF-PUBLISHED FIRST?
I self-published TUS on Kindle before Permuted Press made me an offer. It was up for a few months, and in that time I managed to grace a few bestselling lists and get a decent amount of reviews. The Kindle self-publishing landscape was very different then!
CAN YOU READ/BETA READ MY BOOK?
I'm currently unable to read books or short stories for the sake of giving feedback or doing reviews.
HOW CAN I GET PUBLISHED?
As I mentioned above, I didn't contact my publisher first and have not had a "traditional" publishing experience, so I can't speak from experience. My best advice to you is to put your best effort into your work and always follow the submission guidelines your desired publisher has on their website. It is always important to follow guidelines; this shows you are a serious contender.

HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU STARTED WRITING?
I started writing TUS when I was 16-ish, got serious when I was 17, and self-published when I was 18. Before that, I wrote a lot of short stories for fun. If you've read The Undead Situation and kept up with my books over the years, you will definitely see a change and improvement in my writing style...hehe!
DO YOU ACTUALLY PREP FOR THE APOCALYPSE?
I prep, but not for the zompocalypse. I believe in being prepared for anything—whatever that might be—and that means having food storage, weapons and ammo, and other supplies. But hey, if the zombie apocalypse happens, I’ll be ready.
